Construction has accelerated on The Bays practice range! The full length of the range has been rough graded, subsurface drainage is in place, and perimeter poles with safety netting have been installed. Footers have also been installed to support the overhead canopy covering the hitting bays. Like the fairways on the golf course, the range will feature Celebration Bermuda grass. Strategically positioned target greens have been shaped at a variety of distances, allowing guests to practice every club in their bag.
The Bays will be powered by Trackman technology, offering real-time swing analysis, performance feedback, and a variety of entertaining simulator-type games. Guests will also enjoy an automated golf ball delivery system for seamless practice sessions. While grass tees will not be available, our high-quality synthetic turf will provide consistency and durability for every shot.
Each bay will be fully covered and thoughtfully designed with comfortable lounge and table seating, complemented by food and beverage service, offering a premium experience that blends practice, great food, and an inviting, energetic atmosphere.
At the same time, our expansive, undulating putting green, the future home of the 18-hole putting course, has been sprigged with TifEagle Bermuda, the same grass used on the golf course’s putting greens. The grass will continue to grow in over the coming months, and the green will soon become a beautiful feature of the property.
Progress also continues at Oakwood Grill designed by MHK Architecture and Freestyle Interiors. Large windows are now being installed, bringing in natural light and helping to shape the restaurant’s Scandinavian-inspired aesthetic.
