Course Design
The Gate Golf Club is a thoughtfully designed 9-hole golf course that blends challenge, playability, and player development to create an engaging and memorable experience for golfers of all skill levels. Designed by Jacobsen Hardy, the course features multiple tee options, allowing players to choose yardages and angles that suit their abilities, including a proposed “Junior Tee” at 1269 yards. Generous fairway landing areas offer strategic routes to the hole while accommodating slightly off-line shots, and receptive greens ensure well-placed shots are rewarded, with ample pin placements to maintain variety. Strategic bunkering adds both challenge and visual appeal, with carefully positioned bunkers serving as directional guides, challenges, or saving features.
Balance is at the heart of The Gate Golf Club’s design, with a mix of holes that vary in difficulty—players will encounter both “standard of par” holes and exciting “redemption” opportunities, such as the short par-4 8th, where birdies are within reach. The course integrates seamlessly with its natural surroundings, featuring holes that wind around existing swales, expansive waste bunkers, and tranquil ponds on holes 1, 7, and 9, totaling 4.5 acres of water features. With its complete cart path system and walkable layout, The Gate Golf Club invites players to enjoy the game at their own pace.
